Cynthia A. Kuno is a founding member of Crocker Kuno LLC. She concentrates her practice in debtor-creditor law, bankruptcy, workouts, and related litigation. Board certified in business bankruptcy by the American Board of Certification, her diverse Chapter 11 practice focuses on large and small businesses in the Northwest but she has also appeared in federal and bankruptcy courts in Delaware and the Southern District of New York. She has extensive experience in all aspects of Chapters 11, 13 and 7, representing debtors, trustee, creditors’ committees, landlords and unsecured creditors. An adjunct professor at Seattle University School of Law, she has served two terms as a member of the Executive Committee for the Creditor-Debtor Section of the Washington State Bar Association and is a past Chair of the Bankruptcy Section of the King County Bar Association. She was law clerk to the Honorable Robert Skidmore, Bankruptcy Judge, U.S. Bankruptcy Court, Western District of Washington, and practiced with the Creditors' Rights and Bankruptcy group at Foster Pepper & Shefelman prior to founding CK. Washington Law and Politics has named Ms. Kuno a Super Lawyer each year since 2002 and she has been listed as one of the top lawyers in the Puget Sound by Seattle Magazine. Ms. Kuno is a lover of the outdoors. With a backpack or kayak, she has backcountry traveled throughout the Northwest, along the Continental Divide and in Alaska. She enjoys opera and world music.
